Mrs. Fothergill
January 03, 2008

I graduated from Black Hills State University with a composite degree in Business Education and a degree in Office Management. After graduation, I taught in Newcastle, Wyoming on a one-year teaching contract. When that job was finished, I became an office manager for the Wyoming WIC Department. My husband is originally from the Armstrong area and he wanted to move back to this region so we moved to Armstrong in 1998. I was a substitute teacher at Armstrong-Ringsted for a year and then took a part-time position as a Success Center Instructor at Iowa Lakes Community College. I decided to go back to full-time teaching when an At-Risk/Technology position opened up at the middle school in Ringsted. My heart has always been in teaching at the high school so when the business position opened up at Sentral, I applied for it. I am currently in my sixth year of teaching at Sentral and have loved every minute of it. My husband, Kurt, and I have four daughters -- Andie, 12; Alyssa, 9; Alex, 8; Amelia, 2.
Feel free to contact me at any time about one of my classes or National Honor Society.
