When Should I Take My First ACT?
ACT recommends taking your first ACT in the spring and/or June of your junior year.
Should I Retest?
Consider retesting under these conditions:
- Not feeling physically well on test day.
- Difficulty understanding test directions.
- Test scores did not accurately represent abilities in subject areas-especially after coursework has been completed.
- Discrepancy between ACT scores and high school grades
- Attempting to meet requirements for scholarship programs or admissions eligibility.
Do I Need to Take the ACT Writing Test?
